IRVINGTON – Senior Johnathan Carlton took sixth place in the 55-meter dash in 6.94 seconds and sophomore Michael Veltz, junior Jhamir Applewhite, senior Brandon Moreno and junior James Ely took sixth place in the 4×400-meter relay team in 3 minutes, 48.88 seconds to lead the Irvington High School boys’ indoor track and field team at the Super Essex Conference-American Division Championship meet on Dec. 27 at the Jersey City Armory.
