IRVINGTON – The Sixth Annual Kareem Huggins Football Camp was held Saturday, June 4, at the Irvington High School Sports Complex. The camp was offered to players from K to 12.
Huggins, who grew up in Irvington, was a standout running back at Hofstra University. Huggins, now 30, signed with three National Football League teams: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2009-10), the New England Patriots (2012) and the New York Jets (2013). He also played for the Brooklyn Bolts of the Fall Experimental Football League in 2014.
