IRVINGTON, NJ – Tiara Mahorn scored 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Irvington High School girls’ varsity basketball team to a 53-25 win at Barringer on Jan. 16 in Newark. Charizma Thomas had 10 points; Aniyah Massey scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds; Herbina Exume registered four points, four rebounds and two steals; and Celine Ceasar had three points, four assists and two steals. Yanah Robinson also had six rebounds.
Irvington then lost to Golda Och, 50-36, Jan. 17 at home. Mahorn had 17 points and Massey netted 13 points. Thomas posted four points and Ceasar added two points.
