The Columbia High School football team participated in a scrimmage held at Memorial Field in Cranford on Friday, August 25. Besides the host school Cranford, the other teams in the scrimmage were Carteret and Plainfield. The Cougars will open the season Sept. 8 on the road against Bloomfield.
