Rutgers University men’s lacrosse player Jules Heningburg named to Big Ten Conference First Team

MAPLEWOOD – Maplewood native Jules Heninburg of the Rutgers University men’s lacrosse team was named to the Big Ten Conference First Team.

Heningburg led the conference with 38 goals and led all conference players with  26 points and 18 goals in conference games. The sophomore’s six goals and eight points versus Penn State was the best individual performance in a conference game this season.

Rutgers advanced to the conference championship game, but lost to Maryland, 14-8, May 7, to move to an 11-5 overall record. Heningburg had one goal and one assist. He is a Seton Hall Prep graduate.
