NUTLEY – Montclair State University sophomore Lia Negra, Nutley High School Class of 2014, unloaded a lifetime best throw of 42.21 meters (138 feet-6 inches) to claim eighth place at the 2016 NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships held at Wartburg College in Iowa.
The eighth-place finish earned an All-American status for Red Hawk sophomore.
