NUTLEY – Andrew Santos tripled three times in as many at-bats and Anthony Condito also went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a triple to lead the Nutley High School varsity baseball team to a 6-5 win over Livingston on May 2 in a Super Essex Conference-American Division game at the Park Oval.
Andrew Connor also had two triples and a double in three at-bats for the Raiders, who improved to an 11-6 record. NHS scored two runs in the bottom of the fifth for a 6-4 lead.
NHS, seeded third, will host 14th-seeded Glen Ridge in the first round of the Greater Newark Tournament on Friday, May 6, at 4 p.m.
