NUTLEY – Senior Will Montgomery scored 11 points and senior Geoff Bevere and freshman Marty Higgins each had 10 points to lead the Nutley High School boys’ varsity basketball team to a 56-48 home win over Christ the King Prep in the season opener on Friday, Dec. 18.
Sophomore Matt Schettino and senior Devin White each had eight points; senior Devin Merritt had six points and senior Giancarlo Padilla added three points for the Raiders.
