Nutley HS boys’ basketball team gears up for season

NUTLEY, NJ – The Nutley High School boys’ basketball team will tip off the season tonight, Dec. 14, at home against Newark Tech.

The Raiders are looking to build off  a 12-11 campaign last winter.

Nutley, under head coach Bob Harbison, will be led by senior guard Marty Higgins, and senior forwards Elijah Acosta and Jordan Swann.

Higgins, who will play baseball at St. John’s University on an athletic scholarship, averaged 14.7 points a game last season and is 150 points shy of 1,000 career points.
