NUTLEY, NJ – Nutley High School senior cross-country runner Jimmy Quinn wrapped up his 2017 cross-country campaign with an impressive 16:50 performance at the NJSIAA Group 3 State Championships at Holmdel Park on Saturday, Nov. 11.
Quinn finished 25th overall. However, he did not advance to the NJSIAA State Meet of Champions.
Running against many of the top runners in the state, Quinn was with the lead pack coming out of the woods. NHS head coach Gerald Ryan said, “He ran a great race and should be proud of his performance today and his entire cross-country career. He gave it is all today and ran one of the best races of his career. ”
