Nutley HS football team looks to get back on winning track

NUTLEY, NJ – The Nutley High School varsity football team hopes to snap a two-game losing streak when it visits Orange HS on Saturday, Oct. 15, at 1 p.m. in a North Jersey Super Football Conference Patriot White Division game.

The Raiders lost to Paramus, 45-23, at the Park Oval on Saturday, Oct. 8, in a North Jersey  Super Football Conference non-division game to fall to a 1-4 record.

Josh O’Neill threw three touchdown passes, two to Nick Saporito and one to R.J. Ferrarelli, for the Raiders.

Paramus led 24-23 at the end of the third quarter and outscored the Raiders, 19-0, in the fourth quarter to seal the win.
