NUTLEY — The Nutley High School football team, seeded eighth, will visit top-seeded Sparta in the quarterfinals of the North Jersey Section 2, Group 3 playoffs this Friday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m.
The Raiders have won three straigtht games to improve to 5-4 on the season. Nutley is coming off a 40-3 win at Caldwell on Friday, Nov. 1.
The winner of Nutley-Sparta will face the winner of No. 4 seed West Essex and No. 5 seed Montville in the semifinals.
The Raiders are in the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
