Nutley HS girls’ basketball team features All-SEC players

NUTLEY, NJ – The Nutley High School girls’ varsity basketball team, which won the Super Essex Conference-Liberty Division title this season, featured several players who earned All-SEC-Liberty Division honors.

FIRST TEAM

• Abby Scheidel, sophomore guard.
• Courtney Wilde, junior guard.

SECOND TEAM

• Rebecca Granata, junior forward.
• Alaina Feaster, junior center.

Scheidel averaged 15 points and six assists; Wilde averaged 12 points, four assists and four rebounds; Granata averaged eight points, eight rebounds and two assists and Feaster averaged six points, eight rebounds and two assists per game.

The Raiders, under head coach Larry Mitschow, finished with a 16-9 overall record and 13-1 in the division. They will return everyone for next year.
