Nutley HS girls’ volleyball team finishes stellar 16-5 season

NUTLEY, NJ – The Nutley High School girls’ varsity volleyball team, under first-year head coach Jenna Dwyer, finished a stellar season.

The 12th-seeded Lady Raiders defeated No. 21 seed Millburn, 25-21, 25-15, in the first round of the state Group 3 tournament on Nov. 2 at NHS.

The Lady Raiders then fell at fifth-seeded Jackson Liberty, 23-25, 11-25, in the second round on Nov. 4 to finish with a terrific 16-5 record.
