Nutley HS ice hockey team downs Verona/Glen Ridge

NUTLEY – Gerard LaFuria scored twice and Eric Scalera and Zach Vaughan each had one goal and one assist to lead the Nutley High School varsity ice hockey team to a 5-1 win over Verona/Glen Ridge on Saturday, Dec. 12, at Richard J. Codey Arena in West Orange.

Ryan O’Mara had one goal; Brenden Ruiz had two assists and Joe Fontanals, Mark Frade and Cullen McCormack each had one assist for the Raiders, who improved to a 2-1 record. Joe Hoarle made 30 saves for NHS.
