What do you like best about tennis?
The thing I like the most about tennis is the environment I play in. I get to play
with really good friends who appreciate the sport and are very fun to be with at the
same time. We treat each other like brothers and care for each other deeply.
I can see myself hanging out with most of them after graduation.

Do you prefer any particular kind of sneakers?
I prefer Nike just because my parents always got me Nike sneakers when I was
a kid. I guess I just got used to them.

What’s your favorite on-court memory?
My favorite on court memory was when I won against West Orange in a doubles
match during my sophomore year and two of my senior teammates came and put
me on their shoulders and cheered for me. It was my first varsity win.

Which pro athlete do you look up to?
I’m not really a fan of WWE but I look up to John Cena. John Cena has dedicated
most of his career to making people happy and living life to the fullest. John Cena
has recently granted his 500th wish to the Make a Wish Foundation, a non-profit
foundation dedicated to granting wishes to children with life-threatening
conditions. I look up to his kindness and generosity.

How do you have fun?
I play tennis … Duh.

What’s your fondest memory of Nutley High?
My fondest memory of Nutley High was when I became Key Club president.
Key Club is one of the biggest clubs in our school and is an international club
dedicated to helping the community and making the world a better place. It’s
been an honor to be president this year and know I’ve been a part of a club
that saved over 1,400 lives this year.

What superhero would you like to pal around with?
I would like to pal around with Spiderman. That way I would never have to pick up tennis balls ever again after practice. He would just collect them with his spider webs.

What are your post-graduation plans?
My post-graduation plans are to go to Rutgers University in Newark, major
in biology as a pre-medicine student, become a doctor, and, most
importantly, make my parents proud.
