Orange HS baseball team defeats Lincoln of Jersey City in season opener

ORANGE – Jason Juarez went 4-for-5 with a triple, two-RBI and two-runs scored to lead the Orange High School varsity baseball team to a 10-9 road win over Lincoln High School of Jersey City in the season opener.

Juarez also recorded three outs in the bottom of the seventh inning for the save.  Freshman Moses Garcia went 3-for-5 with two triples, two-runs scored and an RBI, while Welington Jimenez contributed a two-RBI double and single.  Chrystian Walker relieved starter Joshua Fields and recorded the win.
