Orange HS boys’ basketball team continues to gain valuable experience

ORANGE, NJ – The Orange High School boys’ varsity basketball team continues to gain good experience despite its struggles.

Junior point guard Rasheed Johnson scored 16 points and freshman guard K-Jay Robinson had 10 points in the 42-39 loss to Montclair on Jan. 22. Junior forward Giovanni Paterkin had six points and Rhalik Reid had four points in a Super Essex Conference-Liberty Division game.

The Tornadoes fell to Bloomfield, 37-30, Jan. 24 at home in a divisional game.

The Tornadoes lost at Union, 70-43, Jan. 26 in a non-conference game to move to 3-12.
