ORANGE, NJ – Reny Lafortune and Miracle G. Obi each had a goal and an assist and Francisco Soto also had a goal to lead the 19th-seeded Orange High School varsity boys’ soccer team to a 3-0 win over 26th-seeded West Side in the first preliminary round of the Essex County Tournament at home on Oct. 13.
The Tornadoes won their sixth game in a row to improve to an 8-4-1 record.
OHS was scheduled to visit No. 14 seed Bloomfield in the second preliminary round on Oct. 17 at Watsessing Park. The winner will visit third-seeded Millburn in the first round on or by Oct. 19.
