ORANGE – Orange High School senior Onunene Albert took eighth in the girls’ 200-meter dash in 25.99 and her sister, senior Avosuahi Albert, took 13th in the girls’ 400-meter dash in 58.72 at the state Group 3 track and field Championships at Northern Burlington HS in Columbus, June 3-4.
The OHS girls’ 4×100-meter relay (49.80) and 4×400 relay (4:02.71) each finished 11th.
On the boys’ side, senior Albert Kolubah was 11th in the preliminaries of the 100-meter dash, but did not advance to the final.
The meet consisted of the top six finishers in each event from the state sectionals the previous weekend.
