CHS boys soccer team competes in Livingston Summer League; Legacy HS Player Camp to be held August 5-9

MAPLEWOOD, NJ – The Columbia High School boys soccer team, under head coach Josh Russotto, competed in the Livingston HS Summer League.

“We’ve seen some good competition from the likes of West Orange, MKA, Livingston, Verona and West Essex,” Russotto said.

The team competed in small-minded play, 9 v. 9, no offsides, subs on the fly, etc.

CHS also has held weekly practices and weight room sessions.

Russotto also is directing the Legacy High School Player Camp at Ritzer Field at CHS for the fifth year in a row. The camp, for grades 9 through 12, will be held August 5 to August 9 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The camp is designed to prepare boys and girls for tryouts for the following week. A fee is charged. For more information, call 917-349-1090 or email [email protected].
