Columbia HS boys’ soccer team earns 1-1 tie vs. Livingston

MAPLEWOOD, NJ – The Columbia High School boys’ varsity soccer team played to a hard-fought 1-1 double-overtime tie with Livingston on Sept. 13 at Underhill Field.

Max Krause scored on an assist from Owen Conroy in the first half for the Cougars.

Columbia goalie Sam Maidenberg made nine saves.

The Cougars moved to a 0-2-1 mark.

In previous action, the Cougars lost to Caldwell, 3-0, Sept. 8 in the season opener. Columbia fell to Millburn, 1-0, in double overtime on Sept. 13 at CHS, as Maidenberg made nine saves.
