MILLBURN – The fifth-seeded Columbia High School varsity boys’ soccer team lost at fourth-seeded Millburn, 2-0, in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA North Jersey Section 2, Group 4 state tournament on Friday, Nov. 3.
The Cougars enjoyed a successful season. CHS finished with a 10-7-1 record. Millburn improved to 12-5-1.
The Cougars defeated Millburn, 2-1, in overtime on Oct. 11 at Ritzer Field in a Super Essex Conference game. Millburn was ranked No. 14 in the state prior to that game.
