Columbia HS field hockey team ends competitive season

MAPLEWOOD/SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — The Columbia High School field hockey team, seeded 15th, lost at second-seeded Middletown South, 8-0, in the first round of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association North Jersey, Group 4, tournament on Oct. 28.

The Cougars then lost to Governor Livingston, 1-0, on Oct. 30 in Mountainside to end the season. Despite finishing with a 6-12-2 record, Columbia posted several competitive efforts throughout the season.
