MAPLEWOOD/SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – Sage Savoia-DiGregorio scored both goals to lead the Columbia High School varsity field hockey team to its first win of the season with a 2-0 victory over Cranford, 2-0, Sept. 20, at Lynn V. Profeta Field/Underhill Sports Complex.
Zoe Gonzalez and Gabby Thompson each had an assist and Sarah Wolf made five saves.
CHS fell to powerhouse Oak Knoll, 9-0, Sept. 22, at Lynn V. Profeta Field.
CHS tied Governor Livingston, 1-1, Saturday, Sept. 24, in Berkeley Heights to move to a 1-6-1 record. Thompson scored on an assist by Gonzalez. Wolf made three saves.
CHS will visit Summit on Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. and visit Livingston on Oct. 8 at 11 a.m.
