Columbia HS girls’ soccer players receive honors

MAPLEWOOD – The Columbia High School girls’ varsity soccer team, under head coach Ashley Corino, finished with a respectable 9-9-1 record this season.

The Cougars were led by several outstanding players.

The following CHS players have earned All-Super Essex Conference-Liberty Division honors:

First Team: senior defender Jevin Rosengart and senior midfielder Jadyn Herry.

Second Team: freshman defender Naomi Joseph and senior forward Dana Ladd.

Honorable Mention: junior defender Olivia Smith and sophomore goalkeeper Hannah Williams.

Moreover, the six CHS players have earned Worrall Media All-Area honors.

Ladd had seven goals and one assist; Herry had four goals and two assists; Rosengart had three goals and one assist; and Williams, who also played forward, had two goals this season.
