Columbia HS girls’ soccer team loses twice after solid unbeaten start

MAPLEWOOD/SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – The Columbia High School girls’ varsity soccer team enjoyed a 5-0-1 start to the season before losing two straight games.

The Cougars dropped a tough 1-0 decision to undefeated Livingston at DeHart Park on Sept. 28. Hannah Williams made nine saves for CHS. It was the Cougars’ first loss of the season. The Cougars were unbeaten

CHS then fell to Cranford, 2-0, Saturday, Oct.1, in Cranford to move to a 5-2-1 mark.
