Columbia HS girls’ soccer team rolls

MAPLEWOOD/SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – The Columbia High School girls’ varsity soccer team defeated Mount St. Dominic Academy and Newark Academy to improve to a 7-2-1 record.

Charli Holstein scored on an assist by Lia Holstein to lead the Cougars to a 1-0 win over Mount St. Dominic Academy on Oct. 6 at DeHart Park. Hannah Williams made eight saves for the Cougars, who snapped a two-game losing streak.

CHS defeated Newark Academy, 1-0, Saturday, Oct. 8, in Livingston.
