Columbia HS girls’ volleyball team hopes to make good run in state tournament

MAPLEWOOD, NJ – The Columbia High School girls’ varsity volleyball team, seeded 26th, was scheduled to visit No. 7 seed Williamstown in the first round of the NJSIAA Group 4 state tournament on Oct. 30.

The winner will face the winner of No. 10 seed Monroe and No. 23 seed West Windsor-Plainsboro North in the round of 16 on Nov. 1.

The Cougars won two straight, beating Dickinson, 25-9, 25-10, Oct. 19 and Immaculate Conception of Montclair, 25-12, 25-15, at Immaculate Conception to improve to a 15-6 record.
