Fencers win Gold at Morris Knolls Invitational

MAPLEWOOD – Maplewood and South Orange residents who fence for their high schools and train at New Jersey Fencing Alliance in Maplewood placed first at the Morris Knolls High School Invitational held the day after Christmas. Amber White from Kent Place won gold in the Freshman Women’s Saber event,  Sophia Heirvaux from Columbia High School won Gold in the Sophomore Women’s Saber event, and Josh Abdill from Columbia High School won Gold in the Sophomore Men’s Epee event.
