MAPLEWOOD/SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – The Maplewood/South Orange Cougar Youth Wrestling Club accepts registration.
The club is open to Maplewood and South Orange residents in grades 2-8. No experience is necessary.
Registration will be held at Columbia High School (East Gym) between 6:30 – 8 p.m. on Oct. 25, Oct. 27, Nov. 1, and Nov. 3.
Parents must bring their wrestler to weigh-in at registration.
The registration fee is $125 in cash or by check made payable to “Cougar Recreational Wrestling.”
New wrestlers are welcome to try a few practices for free before payment is due.
Practices are three times per week, starting Nov. 12, and run through the first week of March.
Practices are held in the wrestling room and East Gym at Columbia High School: Second to Fifth Grade: Monday and Wednesday, 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – noon.
Sixth to Eighth Grade: Tuesday and Thursday, 6:30 – 8 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon.
