UPDATED: Naquan Tory wins 106-pound title to lead Columbia HS wrestling team at District 10 tournament

MAPLEWOOD – Naquan Tory won the 106-pound championship and Blake McGowan and Tyson Carroll each took second at the 170-  and 182-pound weight classes, respectively, to lead the Columbia High School varsity wrestling team at the District 10 tournament at Randolph HS, Saturday, Feb. 16.

Cahil Love Jr. also finished in third place at 132 for the Cougars, who finished in sixth place out of eight teams in the team standings. Hanover Park won the team title.

The four CHS wrestlers advanced to the Region 3 tournament at West Orange HS, Feb. 20, 22-22. The region tournaments consist of the top three finishers in each weight class from the district tournaments. Region 3 consists of District 9, 10, 11, and 12.

Maximus Moore finished in fourth place at 195 for Columbia.
