MAPLEWOOD/SOUTH ORANGE, NJ — The Columbia High School boys cross-country team finished sixth out of 16 teams at the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4, Championships held at Oak Ridge Park in Clark on Saturday, Nov. 6.
Nate Lindstrom placed 20th overall in 16:35.36 out of 108 finishers to lead the Cougars. Daniel Batkus was 34th in 17:30.48; Aaron Glassman, 36th in 17:36.51; Yael Ben-Adi, 38th in 17:39.66; Javier Casella, 44th in 17:48.21; and Dylan Lehrer, 85th in 20:28.95. Ridge won the boys team title.
Mae Dowling was the lone finisher for CHS on the girls side. She took 23rd in 20:47.93 out of 108 finishers.
