MAPLEWOOD, NJ – The Columbia High School boys’ varsity lacrosse team, pictured in white uniforms, hosted Cranford on April 24 at Underhill Field. The Cougars lost, 11-2.
The Cougars, seeded 12th, defeated No. 13 seed Nutley, 13-3, in the preliminary round of the Essex County Tournament on April 26 at Underhill Field. Samson Wolpov had five goals and one assists and Matthew Sherbine had three goals and six assists. The Cougars then lost at fifth-seeded Glen Ridge, 12-1, in the first round April 28.
