MAPLEWOOD/SOUTH ORANGE, NJ – The U11 Fury won its girls’ soccer division at the Mount Olive Annual Halloween Classic Tournament with a 3-2 victory over the Long Valley United Rebels recently.

Goaltending duties throughout the tournament were handled by Sophie Spitz, Megan Driscoll, Eden Karp-Foster and Catherine Holt. Offensively, Ava Davis, Peyton Hollis, Sam Stein, Molly Bigelow, Julia Saurborn and Juliana Davidman all played well. The defense was expertly anchored by Sammi Sauer, Sasha Jackson, Haley Kampner and Emma Greenberg.

To reach the championship game, the Fury beat the Sussex Warren Spirit, 2-0.

The Fury travel squad is part of the South Orange-Maplewood Cougar Soccer Club.
