Villagers 10U Red softball team won the NJ Thunder Rumble Tournament title

MAPLEWOOD, NJ – The Villagers 10U Red softball team won the NJ Thunder Rumble Tournament in Livingston on September 30.

The Villagers beat the host Thunder 6-3 in dramatic fashion, scoring five runs in the top of the sixth inning.  They held the Thunder at bay in the bottom half, avenging a pool play loss, their only loss of the weekend.

With the win, the Villagers improved to a 7-3-1 overall record with three games remaining before the playoffs.
