She was also honored as the Landmark Conference Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week and the United States Basketball Writers Association NCAA Division III Women’s Player of the Week.
In her only action last week, McPherson had 27 points, six rebounds and two assists in a 78-74 loss to DeSales University. She was a perfect 5-for-5 behind the three-point line and 6-of-6 at the foul line in the contest.

McPerson had 18 points and 10 boards for her third double-double of the season in a 75-63 non-conference victory at Wilkes University last Thursday, Dec. 1, before she finished the week with 34 points, nine rebounds and three assists in a 74-72 triumph over Elizabethtown College to begin the 2016-17 Landmark Conference season.
“Camille has worked extremely hard in the offseason and continues to work hard in and out of practice,” commented 30th-year Head Coach Mary Beth Spirk. “For her to achieve this award two times in the first three weeks of the season is a direct correlation to the time and effort she has put in to her game. Camille is leading this young team and hopefully will continue to lead us as we move into conference play.
“Camille has had an amazing start to the season,” added Spirk. “She worked hard on her game during the offseason and that work ethic has continued into practice and on the game floor. She has dedicated herself to performing at a high level for the entire season.”
