Seton Hall Prep lacrosse team goes to 3-1

WEST ORANGE – The Seton Hall Prep varsity lacrosse team won its first three games before losing to Delbarton to move to a 3-1 record.

The Pirates defeated Montclair, 16-3, April 7 at Verducci Field for its third win. Senior attacker Jack Rutter had six goals and one assist; senior midfielder Sean Leahey had two goals; senior midfielder Jack Gorelick had two goals and one assist; and junior midfielder Michael Mughetto had one goal and four assists to lead the Pirates.

Sophomore midfielder Jack Sarson had three goals and Leahey and Rutter each had two goals in the 12-9 loss at Delbarton on April 9 in Morristown. Junior midfielder Brian Tevlin and sophomore attacker Griffin Westlin each had one goal and four assists and senior goalie Colin Kirst had 10 saves for SHP.
