WEST ORANGE, NJ – In the third week of Super Essex Conference competition at Branch Brook Park in Newark, the Seton Hall Prep cross-country team asserted its strength and defeated Montclair, 21-34, and Livingston, 20-41, and rolled to a 17:26 team average to improve to a 7-0 record.
“Senior co-captain Colin Schweitzer and his varsity teammates needed to approach the day’s race with a strategic eye and focused efforts,” SHP head coach Chris Barnitt said. “Through the first mile, the Pirates packed their top five into the top eight.
