Seton Hall Prep hockey team falls to Pope John

WEST ORANGE – In its only game played last week, the Seton Hall Prep varsity ice hockey team lost to Pope John of Sparta, 4-1, at Skylands Arena in Stockholm. Trailing 1-0 in the first period, senior forward Keith Bishop tied the score for the Pirates on an assist by junior defenseman P.J. Murphy with 3:24 left. SHP allowed two goals in the second period and an empty-net goal in the third period. SHP moved to a 2-8-2 record.
