Seton Hall Prep lacrosse team to visit Bergen Catholic in Non-Public A tournament semifinals

WEST ORANGE –Griffin Westlin had three goals and three assists; Sean Leahey had three goals and Brian Tevlin had two goals and two assists to lead the third-seeded Seton Hall Prep varsity lacrosse team to a 15-2 win over sixth-seeded St. Joseph of Metuchen in the quarterfinals of the state Non-Public A tournament on May 25 at SHP’s Verducci Field.

Jack Sarson had two goals; Jack Rutter had a goal and an assist; Thomas Colucci and Collin Leigh each had one goal; Liam McCabe and Dan Zarillo each added an assist and Colin Kirst  made six saves for the Pirates, who extended their win streak to nine games to improve to a 15-4 record and will visit second-seeded Bergen Catholic in the semifinals in Oradell on May 28 at noon. The other semifinal pits top-seeded Delbarton against fourth-seeded St. Augustine Prep. The final is June 1.
