Seton Hall Prep soccer team gains national honors; Aidan Dunphy picked for All-American Game in Orlando, Fla.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — The Seton Hall Prep soccer team, which recently concluded an outstanding season with an 22-1-1 record, has received some national honors.

In the final TopDrawerSoccer.Com poll, the Pirates finished No. 14 in the Fab 50/National poll,  No. 4 in the East Region and No. 3 in New Jersey.

In the USA Today/United Soccer Coaches Super 25/ National final poll, the Pirates finished No. 19 and No. 3 in the East Region. In the Star-Ledger final poll, the Pirates finished No. 2 in New Jersey; No. 1 in Non-Public Schools; and No. 1 in the Super Essex Conference.

Senior Aidan Dunphy has been selected for the Ninth Annual Boys High School All-American Game played in Orlando, Fla. on Dec. 7. After it was announced, Dunphy said, “It’s fulfilling to earn this honor and be able to represent Seton Hall Prep on a national level. I’m proud of my accomplishments, but I couldn’t do it without the help of my teammates here at Seton Hall Prep.”
