Seton Hall Prep wrestling team ends regular season at 12-4; seeks District 16 Tournament success

WEST ORANGE, NJ – The Seton Hall Prep wrestling team completed its dual meet season with a 12-4 record. The Pirates lost in the NJSIAA Non-Public “A” North quarterfinals at St. Peter’s Prep, of Jersey City, on Monday, Feb. 4, 45-18.

Tenth-year head coach Jack Decker and his team are now looking forward to competing in the NJSIAA District 16 Tournament at Scotch Plains HS on February 16. Under Decker, the team has captured the District 10 title in 2011 and the District 13 title in 2017. Seton Hall Prep has captured 20 district titles in the history of the program. They are as follows: 1966, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80, 81, 82, 83, 2005, 11, 17.
