Seton Hall Prep wrestling team moves to 5-3

WEST ORANGE – The Seton Hall Prep varsity wrestling team had a 5-3 record entering the week.

The PIrates lost a tough 36-33 match to host Parsippany on Dec. 22.

SHP hosted South Plainfield and North Plainfield on Dec. 28. The Pirates defeated North Plainfield, 57-24, before losing to South Plainfield, 49-20.

SHP traveled to Bridgewater-Raritan to take on the host team and North Hunterdon on Dec. 30. They lost to Bridgewater-Raritan, 48-22, before defeating North Hunterdon, 44-31.

The Pirates traveled to South Brunswick High School for a quad meet on Jan. 2. They won all three matches, beating Sayreville, 39-31, West Windsor Plainsboro-South, 38-31, and South Brunswick, 46-33.
