WEST ORANGE, NJ — The Seton Hall Prep wrestling team lost its opening dual meet last week 33-28 at Livingston High School on March 17.
The following SHP athletes won their matches: Junior Joseph Sciarrone won by decision 7-2 at 113 pounds; senior Gabriel Jimenez won by major decision 23-9 at 132 pounds; Cole Carroll pinned in 3:17 at 152 pounds; sophomore Stephen O’Neil Jr. won by decision 4-3 at 160 pounds; senior Conner Decker pinned in just :28 at 170 pounds; and senior Jack Wilt won by forfeit at 195 pounds.
The team’s Caldwell match was postponed from March 19 and should be made up later in the season.
