West Orange HS baseball team blanks West Essex

WEST ORANGE – Andrew Scholz fired a two-hit shutout with nine strikeouts and two walks to lead the Mountaineers to a 7-0 win over West Essex on April 25 in a Super Essex Conference-Liberty Division game in North Caldwell.

Liam White went 2-for-4, including a homer, and two RBI and Jordon Stennett had a two-run double for the Mountaineers, who improved to an 8-3 overall record, 5-3 in the SEC-Liberty.
