West Orange HS baseball team loses to Millburn in GNT quarterfinals

WEST ORANGE – The 10th-seeded West Orange High School varsity baseball team lost at second-seeded Millburn, 7-4, in the quarterfinals of the Greater Newark Tournament on May 12.

Kevin Rodriguez had a double and two RBI; Vincent DeSantis had two hits and an RBI; Liam White had an RBI and Tyree Bradley had two hits for the Mountaineers.

In the previous day, Christopher Veloz went 3-for-3 with a triple and Andrew Scholz and Doug Hughes each had three hits and two RBI in the 10-1 win at Glen Ridge on May 11. Robert Parisi and Paul Casolaro each had two hits and an RBI. White pitched a four-hitter with nine strikeouts.
