WEST ORANGE – The West Orange High School varsity baseball team started the season in emphatic fashion.
Paul Casolaro went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, two runs and two RBI and Andrew Scholz went 2-for-3 with a RBI and a run to lead the Mountaineers to a 12-1 season-opening win over North 13th Street Tech on Friday, April 1, at home. Robert Parisi belted a solo homer; Liam White scored two runs; Jordon Stennett went 1-for-3 with a run and Aaron Puryear went 1-for-2.
