West Orange HS basketball teams gear up for seasons

WEST ORANGE, NJ – The West Orange High School boys’ and girls’ varsity basketball teams will tip off the season Dec. 15. The boys will host University at 7 p.m.

The girls will visit East Orange Campus in a rematch of last year’s  North Jersey Section 1, Group 4 state tournament semifinal won by East Orange, 43-41. The loss ended West Orange’s great season at 23-4. WOHS also reached the Essex County Tournament final, losing to Newark Tech, 55-53, in overtime.
