WEST ORANGE, NJ – Goddy Marc scored 19 points and William Hill had nine points to lead the West Orange High School boys’ basketball team to a 51-38 win over North Bergen on Dec. 21 at home.
WOHS outscored North Bergen, 17-5, in the fourth quarter to improve to 2-1.
The Mountaineers will gear up for the Hillsborough Holiday Tournament against Piscataway on Dec. 27 at 1 p.m. The tournament continues Dec. 28.
“Our guys are working together selflessly,” said WOHS head coach Demond Cowins. “They are focusing on winning as a team. We are looking forward to having that genuine camaraderie heading into the Hillsborough Tournament versus Piscataway.”
